The Hiring Coach is comprised
of Human Resources Corporate Recruiters. This is an important distinction from our competition.

Staffing and Talent Acquisition Departments of 27 Fortune 100
companies, over 100 Fortune 1000 companies plus countless privately
held companies and not for profit organizations. Combined, we have worked with every Applicant
Tracking Software system on the market and we know the quirks and the work
arounds. We are the employer. We are not
third party recruiters, agency recruiters, job coaches or life coaches; we are Human Resources. We phone screen, we interview, we make recommendations, we
extend offers and we reject candidates on a daily basis. We go head to head with Hiring Managers on a
daily basis and influence their decision to interview, hire or decline
candidates.

In our roles as Corporate
Recruiters and Staffing Managers, we are limited in what feedback we can share with a
candidate. The fact is we must be
vigilant about legal liability. For example, as petty
as this might sound, wearing perfume and cologne to an interview is a major
no-no. We could never tell a candidate, “When
you come back to meet Ms. Hiring Manager, please refrain from wearing your
perfume.” However, in our roles here at The Hiring Coach, we can tell you the truth. In this market, everything
matters. We, as employers, have too many
candidates from which to choose. Our job is to find reasons to
exclude rather than include! Very, very
different than how we recruited in 2003 – 2007 when it was just the opposite!
