Is your resume getting results?
....in 33 seconds?
On average, an experienced Corporate Recruiter
makes a decision about your resume within 33 seconds.
Accept or Reject. In or Out. Keep or Toss.
Does your resume pass the 33 second test?
Are you getting call backs?
Are you getting interviews?
If not, the problem is your resume!
If you are looking for a new job, nothing happens until
a Recruiter accepts your resume. No phone calls, no emails, no interviews, no offers, no new job. Nothing.
If your resume isn't working neither will you.
The Hiring Coach is a group of Corporate Recruiters who recognize first hand the critical importance of an effective resume in the hiring process. At the same time we realize most job seekers cannot afford a professional resume writer. Thus, this site was created. We offer a much needed service to job seekers.
We revise and transform
average resumes into winning resumes
at a price affordable for everyone.
Is your resume helping you or hurting you?
Do you even know?
The Corporate Recruiters who will review, critique and revise your resume have over ten years of experience in Corporate Recruiting. We have worked in every industry, every part of the country, and across every career discipline. We are the ones who have rejected 100,000's of resumes, usually within 33 seconds. The good news is that we have also accepted resumes and hired 1000's of employees!
Let our employer perspective and experience work for you.
What is a resume review and revision?
First and foremost, your resume is reviewed for the critical four
"eye targets" a Corporate Recruiter needs to immediately see
on your resume. What is an eye target? These are four details a Corporate Recruiter seeks out in a resume before anything else. If they are missing or off target.....reject! We ensure your resume's "eye targets" are in line with the job you are seeking and easy to spot by the Recruiter. We then scrutinize clarity and purpose - often the downfall of most resumes. Is your career goal and content clear to someone who knows nothing about you? Your resume is reviewed for use of space, continuity, consistency - we probably make more corrections in these three areas than any other areas. Grammar, spelling, punctuation and capitalization are checked, again. Inevitably, verb tense usage often needs to be revised. The objective, summary or opening headline is scrutinized. Font, character usage and special effects usually need to be edited out. We all know about the importance of the first four minutes of the interview, luckily now you know about the first 33 seconds in the life of a resume.
